The Lyra "Lab" Orchestra

The Lyra Lab is a new kind of community orchestra. Attend monthly sessions, work with baroque specialists from Lyra, and perform on the Twin Cities Early Music Festival in June!

Dates for Spring, 2026

Session 1: Saturday, April 11, 2:30-5:00 at the Baroque Room

Session 2: Saturday, May 9, 2:30-5:00 at the Baroque Room

Session 3: Saturday, June 6, 2:30-5:00 at the Baroque Room

Performance at the Twin Citites Early Music Festival: Saturday, June 13 @ 6:45p.m. at Sundin Music Hall

Tuition

Tuition is $200*. This will be billed to you via Square after sign-up.

Tuition covers 8+ hours of training with a Lyra baroque specialist, ensemble music, and the performance at the Twin Cities Early Music Festival at Sundin Music Hall, directly before Lyra Baroque's finale concert.

 

*Scholarships are available to those who can demonstrate financial need. 

Venue Information

All rehearsals are held at the Baroque Room: 275 E 4th St. Stu 280, Saint Paul, MN, 55101. There is street parking, parking at Union Depot and Farmer's Market parking. Doors open at 2pm for rehearsals at 2:30.

This spring's performance will be held at Sundin Music Hall: 1531 Hewitt Ave, St Paul, MN 55104. This is the music hall on Hamline University's campus. There is free parking in the adjacent lot off of Hewitt Avenue.
